early morning quick update

It's fairly early Sunday morning and I just popped out of bed, wide awake! It's frustrating because I don't have early church today...it is Stake Conference at 10...so, like most days when I could sleep in, I can't.

My weekend has been lovely. Eric and Heather came to town and it's been since BEFORE Christmas that we saw them. We all (minus Zach and Hil) went to the Hunting and Outdoor Expo at the Salt Palace yesterday. This was mostly fun for Eric, but it was fun to hang out and Cassidy is always a hoot. Last night my mom had a major feast at her house that we all gathered for (except Ben, who was working). We had a great time.

At school on Friday I got a visit from an unwanted visitor: yet another cold sore, this time on my lip. It seriously just appeard during 1st period and unfortunately I didn't have my medicine so I had to suffer through the first stages of it all day.

I had a yearbook deadline so I stayed a few hours later than normal on Friday to work on the pages. I'm excited for this year's yearbook because some is in color!

As mentioned, we have Stake Conference at 10. The cool thing is that our Stake presidency is getting reorganized so we have a member of the 12 coming (at this moment, I can't remember who it is) and also Jon Hunstman Sr. It'll be neat to be in the presence of two awesome men.

I'm going to take a bath and see about snagging a little bit more sleep before I need to get ready.
