pinkalicious weekend

My weekend has been fantastic and I'm beginning to feel mentally prepared to head back to work tomorrow. It's going to be a crazy day as this is my schedule:
*7am-3:30pm--Be at school, teach.
*8:30am-2:45pm--Be in charge of lame Spring Picture day and help all 1200 students at WL get their free spring picture taken (I really hate this day!)
*4:30pm-6:00pm--Attend a PRAXIS test study/training meeting (I have to take another PRAXIS test by the end of next year to get my level 2 license; this training is supposed to guarantee that I passe)
*6:30pm-8:00pm--PTSD Group at the VA with Ben

As I said, I've had a fantastic weekend. Last night I got to hang out with my cute niece, Cassidy. She was spending the night at my mom's and the three of us went to our friend Leslie's house to play with her girls and have a Pinkalicious party.

Pinkalicious is the name of this super darling book about a little girl who turns pink because she eats too many pink cupcakes. We made pink cupcakes at Leslie's and got frosting all over our faces. Here we are eating our yummy pink cupcakes.
Tonight Ben made a yummy dinner of Delmonico steaks, potatoes, and broccoli. I contributed by making Jello (about the extent of my cooking expertise!!! JK!) I'm going to make brownies here in a bit and enjoy the last hours of my long weekend.

Zeus went to the vet on Saturday to get a preventative antibiotic shot. We are doggysitting Ben's parent's dog, Joey, this week while they are in Disneyland and Joey is sick. Ben took Zeus to get the shot yesterday and the vet said he should be ok, though the shot is kind of like a flu shot, in that it may or may not really work. I took this picture just before church today of our cute puppy who now weighs 57 lbs.

What a fun weekend! Glad you are doing well and staying busy. We are coming down to Utah at the end of this month for a baby blessing. It will be crazy with the family, but I would LOVE to see you. So maybe we can get together for a quick lunch of something. We'll be down the last weekend.

Thanks for the cute picture of the 2 most photogenic people I know. Cassidy looks like she's grown up a lot since I saw her at Christmas.

Tell me the name of a good book that I could get her for her birthday? Is there a resource list?
